MOVING DÜNTSAM
In Tibetan Buddhism meditators go on retreat meditating for years,
or months, or weeks. There are different terms for retreats of different lengths.
The Tibetan word dün means seven, and tsam essentially means to stay in retreat. The basic idea of the event is that a community of like-minded Buddhist practitioners gather at a venue and practice together for seven consecutive days.
